Guest guest
Neat trivia Butch. My name came out of " nowhere " though. My father named the first daughter Anna, after his mother. My mother's turn came next. She was lying in the hospital bed at 2 in the morning with moonlight streaming across her bed and it popped into her head. " Gayla. That's what I will name my baby girl " . She might have heard it somewhere, but who knows. Gee, I set the fashion! I was named in 1948, so I am 'way ahead of my time!! hehehe Gayla Roberts Always Enough Ranch Acampo, California Check out our SALE PAGE at www.bouncinghoofs.com/alwaysenoughhobbysale.html A day without Bill Barnhill is like a day without sunshine! goatclearing http://coloredboers.home.att.net/always.html No one ever gets far unless he accomplishes the impossible at least once a day. Guest guest
I have a grand daughter named Zayla Zarya and one named Zandriea. Their sister is named Zoey. I think Zayla has eastern Europe origins. My daughter wanted her kid's names to stand out Paula .......... in Michigan I used to have super powers but my therapist took them away > Neysa, Gayla .. other good folks .. > > I'm big time into trivia .. and the origin of names is a bit of trivia I > particularly enjoy. ;-) > > I was trying to connect Gayla with the Russian-Ukrainian-Bulgarian names > Galya, Galiye, Galiya and/or Galina .. and though I couldn't do it ..
