Guest guest
Hey Amy, > I am ordering some oils and see Hydrosols forgive me but what are they > and how do you use them? I did look it up and read about them a bit > and think I understand but thought Id ask here also. See the next posts .. there are many posts in the archives of this list that answer most questions .. the ones I will send are in the archives. I'll tell you now what a Hydrosol is NOT! A Hydrosol is NOT any product that was created without steam distillation .. hydro-steam distillation, or hydro-diffusion. Some folks in the industry are trying to redefine terms .. basically, they add an absolute to distilled water and call it a Hydrosol .. its NOT a Hydrosol and it will NOT have the therapeutic properties of a Hydrosol because it doesn't contain the water soluble and non water soluble chemical properties of the plant .. its merely a nice smelling substance (though not all that nice smelling) in distilled water. If there is no distillation .. there is no Hydrosol .. PERIOD! > Thanks > Amy Welcome fer'shur .. and y'all keep smiling. :-) Butch http://www.AV-AT.com
