Guest guest
Hi, A friend of mine was going to go on an overseas trip and developed UTI and was in agony. She was told by a Maori healer to boil up a metre of clean kikuya grass and drink the water. She said it was very fast acting. I think couch and kikuya are the same family. Interesting about asparagus helping, because it sure smells like strong enoug to kill an ox when it is exiting ! The season has been going for about 3 weeks here in New Zealand, and this year they are just gorgeous! I love them steamed with just squeezed lemon juice and pepper. Jeanine Asparagus As in, just eat it? Yum! Birch HOW does one use birch? Tea from leaves? Couch grass Yeah! we have plenty of that! How nice to know it is good for something. I knew the rhizomes could be used as an emergency food. You are a fount of knowledge. Great list. Ien
