Guest guest
Good Morning Soapers, Does anyone have any information/experience on using floral waxes in soaps? How much wax per/lb of oils? When to add? Melt w/a little jojoba & add at trace or rebatch & add then? Thanks for your input. Kathy

I won't use them as the whole of the fragrancing, but sort of to 'boost' whatever absolute I am using. and I figure one oz of floral wax is the equivalent of 1/2 oz of eo or absolute. so... in a six lb batch, let's say, that would normally call for three ounces of blended eo's, I might use 2.5 oz of the eo and one oz of floral wax. melted with one of the carrier oils and added at light trace. Guest guest
Hello, I don't use them personally because they have residual solvents and alcohol in them, but your question piqued my curiosity. I found this on the web that might be the information you're looking for.
