FORBID THEM FROM USING THE DRINKING FOUNTAINS AT SCHOOL! >> Here Here! I second that motion A couple of years ago we got a letter from our City that told us that *Oops, we've gone over the EPA limits on Halo Acetic acids in your drinking water. Do NOT be alarmed though, the water is still *safe* to drink " Yea right! I took the info to an attorney whgo also happened to be a chemist. He did tons of research on it and found that HA acids suppress your immune system.......which is why *I* believe is the reason why HALF of one local pharmacy's business is that of treating women with UTI's. Our cats have always drank out of a cup in the sink. Until I found out that one of the reasons my female cat was spraying (like a male does!) was because she had as massive UTI. Hmm, don't suppose it was caused by the water eh? I've considered contacting the CDC, but not sure if they would even bother looking into it. I've complained for years that not only do I have to pay for water thru my City, but I also have to purchase water that is drinkable! UGH Katrina and Rita have sure driven the cost of water up around here......what used to cost us $1.27 for 3 gallon jogs is now $1.91! Course, I am sure they were looking for an excuse to gouge us. Speaking of.....anyone understand this? We were in Norman OK (yep, where that poor kid blew himself up on a park bench!) this last weekend for some much needed drumming......when we left Claremore....gas was $2.68. A little over 2 hours later in Norman, it is only $2.27!!!! WHY is this? Egads, someone get me off this soapbox! Guest guest
question in regards to this since my daughter has probs with UTI's ALL the time -- would filtered water from a fridge be okay? Guess I need to make sure my daughter isnt drinking water at school or is this just in certain areas of the US? Is this just fountain water or water out of bathroom sinks too. Gee this brings up lots of questions.
