Guest guest
Hiya all I just spoke with both Eric and Christa Maria. C-M tripped on a plastic grocery bag handle and fell on Tuesday afternoon. She laid, helpless, on the cold floor for over 24 hours until she was found by the UPS driver. She was very concerned that she could not let her cat in for the night. She broke her leg just below where the hip replacement was done in May, 2005. The surgeon says that the surgery to correct this break is even more difficult with longer recovery than the replacement surgery. C-M also broke her left shoulder and right arm. Neither will require surgery. Because of her other health issues, her medical care needs to be very exacting as to not exacerbate the other issues. I'm asking C-M's son, Eric, to get her amplified headphones with a microphone and long cord so she can more easily communicate with her friends. Otherwise, C-M's spirits and will is strong with a touch of angst. Christa-Maria Hahn c/o Northern Michigan Hospital 416 Connable Pestoskey MI 49770 231-487-4000 As I know more, I will let y'all know. Surgery may well be tomorrow, the surgeon is changing his hunting trip. Please feel free to circulate this to C-M's other groups and friends. Her circle is huge..... mjh " The Basil Book " http://foxhillfarm.us/FireBasil/

Guest guest
Dear MJH, Will try to get out today or tomorrow for a card. Please give CM my best wishes for a speedy recovery. She sure has been through a lot these last couple years. CM will be in my Thoughts and Prayers. Nancy Hiya all I just spoke with both Eric and Christa Maria.
