Guest guest
I make my own homemade soap for about 20 years. I just got a complaint that it stinks and I have been told that there is a way to remove the odor from the tallow. I put nothing in the soap except the Tallow, Lye and Water for people who have allergies. Is there something that will remove the ODOR ? Guest guest
Frank, I make tallow based soaps but not 100% - do you render your own suet or is it beef fat? What kind of stink are you trying to say (rancid, beefy ?) I always add salt to mine when rendering and have never had a complaint about it stinking - maybe complaints about the scents I use (lol) I have soaps that are 3-4 years old and still smell fine.
