For those who want to study aromatherapy, Neal's Yard Remedies holds

classes in Tokyo's Omotesando and Ginza and in Yokohama. A basic course of

six sessions costs 33,600 yen.

Call Neal's Yard Remedies' school department at 03-5778-3652. Aromatherapy

To commemorate Aromatherapy Day on Nov. 3, established in 2002 to help the

treatment take root in Japan, the Aroma Environment Association of Japan is

holding the Aromatherapy Fair Oct. 31 to Nov. 6 at Printemps Ginza

department store in Tokyo's Chuo Ward (a 2-minute walk from Ginza-Itchome

subway station).

Each day, 2,500 visitors will receive a dry lavender flower for free. Aroma

goods will be on sale, and seminars will be held. Also, three booths of

famous Tokyo aromatherapy salons will offer services such as body and

facial treatments. The fair takes place 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. (until 7:30

p.m. Oct. 31; until 7 p.m. Nov. 6).

Call the fair organizer at 03-3538-0681 for more.(IHT/Asahi: October 8,2005)
