Guest guest
Not an exact recipe, but this is about how it's put together and as I learned it from my native teacher... handful of dried mullein inside DRIED bark from a wild cherry tree, about 1/2 handful of peeling 1/2 handful of mint leaves some sage some thyme ( can be fresh) fresh or dried elderberries handful of wild cherries a strip of mahogany colored birchbark, usually found from young trees that shed their peel. A little bit of yarrow..dried is OK distilled water honey vodka Stirfry the mullein in a cast iron pan with a little oil oil, just a tad, a few drops... You almost want to scorch the mullein. Transfer to a glass pyrex pan ( I have an old coffee maker that I use for medicinals or an enamel pan) Add the cherry tree bark, mint, sage thyme, elder berries, yarrow, birchbark. Fill up with distilled water and boil all well until it is halfway reduced. Strain. Measure the liquid and add half of it's amount with honey Measure the herb and honey mix and add the same amount of vodka. A shot of that in hot rosehip tea will do wonders...
