there are many different electric diffusers out there...

 

there's nebulizers, that mist a microscopic mist of eo into the air...so

small the particles stay suspended in the air for a couple of hours... the

'aromastone'...a ceramic diffuser that warms its surface to 'baby bottle'

temperature... wonderful for bedside use..., a an electrified aromalamp...

a bowl of warm water, w/ eo's floated in it, that sits over a small light

bulb.... a brand new ultrasonic humidifier/diffuser that uses a 'cool

mist'... no heat, and shuts off when the water level falls... there's the

Spa Scenter... a cone/pyramid shaped diffuser that uses a silent fan

blowing over a pad moistened w/ eos... there's the plug in wall unit that I

personally think heats the oils a bit too much...(the Scent Ball)...

Any opinions on nebulizers versus ultrasonic misters from folks

who've used both?

 

I like the idea of just being able to add drops to the bowl of water

the mister is in... but I'd really like the most bang for my

buck--not the cost of the equipment, but the amount of oil one needs

to use to experience the same subjective experience in a room.

 

My guess is that a nebulizer probably wins, but I've never gotten to try one.
