Guest guest
Something I have also wanted to do is make my own sachets to hang in inconspicuous areas around the house. Are EO's good for making sachets?

Guest guest
Would you share your recipe with me? And what do you use to make your sachet holders? > I use EO blends in sachets quite a bit. > Serra > > > On 10/2/05, Carol <daisies13@h...> wrote: > > Something I have also wanted to do is make my own sachets to hang in > > inconspicuous areas around the house. Guest guest
Hi Serra, What do you use in your sachets to " fix " the essential oils to retain the scent for as long as possible? I've been experimenting, but am not realy happy with my results yet. Thanks, Holly
Guest guest
I add the EO to ground corn cob (about 10 ml of most scents 2 qts. by volume of corncob), let it sit 2-3 days, then bag either in muslin or lace bags my MIL makes. Guest guest
Have you tried mixing Orris Root with the dry products and then add you EO's. That usually is a good " fixer " , Lynn --- lovehealsyou wrote: > Hi Serra, > > What do you use in your sachets to " fix " the > essential oils to retain the scent for as long > as possible? Guest guest
It's really not necessary for these--I have some I did a couple years ago that still smell good. I've been told that the corncob fixes it but have no evidence that it really does that. They just last a good long while.
