Guest guest
Hello Everyone, Over the years, I have dabbled in various natural healing methods to promote health and wellness. I've been into weight training, Tae-bo, yoga, homeopathy, reflexalogy, vitamin and herb therapy, aerobics, hiking, walking, golf, tennis, light jogging, and even spent a short time experimenting with the vegetarian lifestyle. But also over the years, I have been busy with surviving in my personal and social arenas and, sadly for me, I have neglected to balance my life regarding work, recreation, and relaxation. So, I decided to join this group and get the positive feedback and education from those who are practicing advocates of healthy lifestyles. I need your help in staying consistent at taking bite- size-chunk-levels of behavior modification that I can assimilate and put into practice. My body is saying, " Start now and don't renig. " All six of my senses are highly keen. I love the smell of earth's bountiful flora fontana and I believe Bach Flower Remedies will sooth me. I've only studied a lit bit about it. But I believe the remedies are effective in promoting could health. And I can grow much of this at home in my garden but I need help in determining what, where, when, and how. I'm also deeply concerned about the way food is grown in the US. I strongly believe the Department of Agriculture in our Government is poisoning us. But what to do if you don't farm your own land or grow your own livestock ... Plus, organic food in stores is very high and then you are not 100% sure you are getting " organic. " Golly, I sound pessimistic and I apologize for the tone, but I can't apologize for knowing the truth. I'm really happy to be here and I hope I have presented a good first impression. Oh, I fogot to mention, I need help determining what Bach Remedies will work for me. I am single and I'm a high stressed person who is facing many new challenges regarding career and family. I'm also going through the menopause, naturally. And I tend to get stiff across the shoulders and back and suffer painful muscle and joint aches in these areas of my body. From time to time I take prescribed pain medicine but only! if the pain is unbearable. Other than that, I take no pills at all: not even vitamins. Thank you for listening and I look foward to any help or suggestions you have to offer. Warmest of regards, Carol No. California

Guest guest
Hi Carol, This is one of the nicest, most supportive groups anywhere. Welcome! Just one word: you don't have to read everything if you want to have a life left. For instance, if you are not into making soap, it is perfectly OK to just delete those. Guest guest
Hi Ieneke, Is that pronounced: eye-ni-key or eye-neck-ee? It's very pretty and different. I agree. This is a terific group. And ... and, I chuckle ... and the volume of messages can send you running for air and screaming, " Help! " I use to post at the site. Now I wait for the " digest " to come in my email box. I can handle that. I don't know anything much about soaps. I use to use glycerin soap, but not any more. As far as making my own, I have never thought about doing that. But who knows, maybe some day. Right now I want to concentrate on healing my body of these aches and pains in my shoulder and get my energy back. Both have been bad for (6) days and I'm flat getting irrated with my health concerns. I'm not sick as a rule, and I don't like eing this way. (growl) Vivodin does nothing for it. I took a half of a tranquilizer last night and that helped me sleep straight through the night like a rock. I'm here to get head smart about flower and oil essences. My gut feeling tells me these product will help me. I just have to decide which ones and when to get started. Decisions, decisions. Have a super day!
