Guest guest
Back in April, Kathleen, WoobeyQueen, asked me to write an article on natural perfumery for her magazine on aromatherapy, aroamticsage. In penning the opus (imagine her shock when I turned in 18,000 words!) it lit a fire under me to get my naturalperfumery.com moving, as I had been sitting on the name for almost a year. Chris came on board as webmistress, so you see the strong connection ;-) Then, while speaking to Mandy Aftel, who wrote the book that started us all on natural perfumery, she pointed me to a chart on her website, and said I could use it. It's the best reference, concise and comprehensive, that I've ever seen on the three subjects. Please visit the " About " page to see the update. http://www.naturalperfumery.com/about.htm You may have to hit " refresh " on your browser to load it. This chart is invaluable for journalists who will visit the site when they write an article on natural perfumery. She also provided a brief FAQ on the subject. It's so informative and concise it deserves its own spot on this page, apart from the FAQ I wrote for the site. All this great info might help y'all, too in explaining who we are, and how we're different from AT and synthetic perfumers when your friend or family or customer asks. Thanks, Mandy! http://naturalperfumery.com The premier site on the Web to discover the beauty of Natural Perfume " The Age of the Foodie is passé. It is now the Age of the Scentie.
