Guest guest
Hi all, Can anyone tell me if there are any contra-indications for using the following essential oils in a blend at a 10% dilution? I am making a blend for a friend who is having knee surgery and read some research that a blend of lemon, plai and nutmeg in a 10% dilution will act as an anti-inflammatory/pain reliever. Iknow, Iknow I need to get the Plant Aromatics Butch, as soon as funds allow I will order it-I promise! Thanks all. Warm regards and continue to be, Lori

Guest guest
This blend is not meant to be put on broken skin or directly on the wound or dressing! It is to be applied to the area SURROUNDING the surgical sight to help alleviate the pain and inflammation. According to the study I am referring to, the patients who followed this protocal did not use ANY pain relieving medications following their surgeries, they just had this topical oil applied on the SURROUNDING area. Sorry if I confused the application method and thanks for posting so no-one would actually use this combination directly on a wound!
