alternatives to grocery-store lye i.e.: Red Devil

Hi--

....for those of you living in more 'rural' areas--ck you grain growers

& feed stores. Out of 3 in my (fairly) local area, 1 does, and I was

able to purchase a 50# bag for 32.50. As I also have cats--and a

litter box, I had the perfect containers to transfer it into.

 

Just a heads-up for those who are searching.

You can also find " sodium hydroxide " at pool supply stores. I buy 50#

bags from my local chemical supply dealer. You need to have lots of

paperwork the 1st time, but then I just make a call and pick it up.
