I'm really glad you posted that, Bonnie. I'm just flat out NOT comfortable

buying or handling lye in bulk. Two lb containers will work much better

for me!!

I've been buying lye in 50 pound bags from a chemical company here in Michigan

for a few years and selling it along with the rest of my small line of soap

making supplies. Never had to fill out any kind of papers - from Haz-mat or

anywhere. Didn't even have to show my sales tax license. They even deliver the

bags right to my door with out any shipping or delivery charge
