Guest guest Posted September 22, 2005 Report Share Posted September 22, 2005 Hey Butch, This is just my 3rd summer in the Phoenix valley and it's NOT high on my list of favorite places to reside. It was 106 here yesterday, and the A/C has been on for 5 solid months now. For one raised in Oregon, and as a midlife woman, the hot dry climate here is challenging. Still, I'm learning to find a special beauty here in the desert and do my best to focus on the positive. Loved the photos you shared. So beautiful. Sedona is an hour and a half north and is a great place to experience Autumn. I escape there often to enjoy the cool air, trees, beauty and running rivers. The desert wild flowers in the Spring are really amazing too. Thanks Butch.
