Guest guest
Hi Folks, As many of you have heard already - Hurricane Rita is making a b-line for the Texas coast with the Houston area looking like a primary target. They are also expecting this to be a category 4 storm when it hits on Friday. I'm not on the east side of town by the water, but a category 4 storm is strong enough to have me SERIOUSLY considering " getting out of Dodge " as the saying goes. I will be working on packing and shipping all the in stock orders I can today tomorrow and into Thursday in between gathering up important documents, packing bags, the car and taking care of the house (like possibly boarding some of the larger windows). Even if I don't evacuate I'll have to make sure we've got our storm preparedness kits all ready, which will mean heading out to the stores tonight and tomorrow and I can tell you that at Sam's Club earlier I snagged the next to last cases of water and the lines were LONG. Home Depot and Lowe's are all out of plywood but expecting more in the morning. I send safe wishes to everyone in the area! *Smile* Chris (list mom - who may once again be a bit scarce for the next several days!) Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the thinks you can think up if only you try! - Dr Seuss http://www.alittleolfactory.com <http://www.alittleolfactory.com/>
