With such a diverse group, i thought maybe someone might have some suggestions

or have heard of some new information, and I know that this is NOT medical

advise. A friend's child has 'minor change disease', she is doing the medical

route, and the doctor has done a 'limited study' with a non dairy diet; she is

wondering if anyone has any info on this disease; it could be herbal, essential

oils, massage, she is willing to try anything. The little boy is 4 yrs old,

and also has asthma. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sandra,

What IS " Minor change disease " ?

I strongly suspect this is one of those

cases where the psychiatric brotherhood

invents a " disease " for what used to be

a matter of personal temperament.

One used to just Be a clumsy child.

These days one Has " clumsy child syndrome " .

this disease is really a disease, it is the mot common cause of nephrotic

syndrome in children. Nephrotic syndrome results from damage to the small blood

vessels (glomeruli) in the kidneys..

Thanks for explaining!

I thought it referred to kids not being able to cope

with minor changes, such as being assigned a

diffeent desk at school.
