Has anyone either performed or received massage cupping therapy? If

so, I would like to hear your thoughts on this form of healing. The

pros and cons, etc.

Thank you.

We learned how to do this in our Shiatsu class... many acupuncturists

use it, and it's starting to gain popularity in spas and such.

Pros: great for folks with excess, especially Lung issues. Sensitive

clients can feel the energy moving. Very relaxing for most all

clients.

Cons: your liability insurance may not cover it, especially if done

the traditional way with flame rather than a suction kit.

That's all off the top of my head.

Thanks Kathleen for your reply. The wheels were turning so I decided to try

it on myself with a regular coffee cup. It did leave a nasty mark, which I

expected from my research on the subject. But it did do something for me. It's

amazing.
