periods

Hi thought I might throw in one more thing about periods.

I had to have everything removed over 27 years ago. They thought I was bleeding

to death.

Before that I would bleed for weeks even months at a time. My iron was so low I

would pass out

and was sick with everything my kids brought home. For a 2 or 3 year time span I

was in the

hospital 4 or 5 times...anyway I found out that I have a BLOOD Disease. It

prevents me from clotting and

it is common in women. It is called Von Willebrand's disease. have her check

that out Before they decide to

do any type of surgery because I ended up needing 31 units of blood after the

hysterectomy.
