Another comfrey question - extracting allantoin

Hi folks,

 

So which solvent(s) will successfully extract allantoin from comfrey?

Just alcohol?

 

I've been learning about water, alcohol, vinegar, oil, and glycerin

extractions, and mixtures made from various combinations of those.

Unfortunately it's not so easy to find out which are good for what

purposes <laugh>
