Guest guest
Hello New To Group. My Name is Linda A.K.A. gizzywizzer. :0) I joined sevral days ago but was not feeling well so i waited to introduce myself. Ypu will have excuce my spelling most of the time. I have MS. so brain and hand do not always work well togeather. lol Im the mother of 5 grown children, grandmother on one grandaugter maddy grace. :0) shes one year old and the love of my life, Married to a dear man who loves me in spite of my self lol I mainly make & deal in Loose Mineral Cosmetics, I also sell kits & formulas for making them as well. Ive been doing this since the mid. 1990's. Alot of these new people poping up selling kits and so on our members of my group. Its rather funny to see people flocking to purchase there kits, When they come to the source its self and not get second hand info? I think i dont advertise well enough or something? Most of my business has word of mouth. The problem is they all end up at my door step at the end anyway, But its after they have bought kits from 2 or 3 other people but couldnt get the help or after care they needed or wanted. Now im expected to pick up the pieces. I feel bad for these women, And i do help them. But shouldnt I be getting there business to begine with? Just a question to think about? Maybe someone has some answeres for me. :0) I had to stop making CP soap because of the MS but i still make melt & pour soap and have learned to do some wonderful amazing things with it. I also make Creams, Lotions, Body Balms, Facial Misters, & other bath and body products to go with the cosmetic line. Im an Essential Oil Junkie, I love essential oils & Blending. I also love books. Mu husband says i have to many, But can a person really have too many books? I think not.! lol So i collect books on Essential Oils & Aromatheraphy, So im always looking for new books. I have some old books i found at an auction that have been fun that belonged to a pharmasist. There dated 1929, 1930, & 1931. They have old formulas in them for making creams & tinctures, and many other items. Those have been very interesting reading as well. Back then the pharmasist had to make everything as the person needed it. It list everything they used back then, The botanicals & herbs, What they did & were used for, The ratios for the formulas, The formulas, Its very fasanating. Ive NEVER used any. But its very good reading. Well im a gabber lol Thank you for the invite. I think i will enjoy this group. Guest guest
Hello and Welcome Linda, UMMM, can you adopt me! lol...You do all the things I want to do. I have been using loose mineral cosmetics for about 2 years and love them... even played with the idea of trying to make them. I am also very into EO's and aromatherapy.. never tried CP soaps as the instructions always seem so involved, so I have been researching the melt and pours... I am big into herbs and nature's pharmacy... I am a licensed Cosmetologist and specialized in skincare... but now am working in an ER and going back to school for my RN degree.. and am very interested in how much can be done with herbs and aromatherapy. As to your books! No , we can NEVER have too many! So again, Welcome to the group...
