Requesting EO blend suggestions

Hi All,

I am facillitating part of a spiriutal retreat over the weekend. It

will be a non-denominational, prayer and meditation centered event. I wanted

to make a EO blend for the participants to take home with them to help them

remember the essence of the weekend.

Does anyone have suggestions for a nice blend that might have historic

significance as a meditational aid?

Thanks in advance,

Mary Alana

Hi Mary,

I hope you have a great time at the retreat.

I've always tended to gravitate towards earthy, base type oils for

meditation blends .. such as Sandalwood, Cedarwood (Atlas) and Vetiver.

Frankincense and Clary Sage are always good to put into meditation

blends too.

Aside from the traditional esoteric/spiritual associations with those

particular herbs/oils and the benefits they can bring to a meditation

.... I don't want anything that is too " euphoric " or " giddy " or

" stimulating " in there. I don't want to go to sleep either, but relaxed

and focused is the place to be :)

I'm with Chris on this one, Frankincense and Sandalwood, nifty combo,

but if it's not to be used on the skin I'd put in a hint of clove as

well. Just a hint. Maybe a tinge of Myrrh. Depends on how earthy and

grounding you want it to be.
