I am ready to begin announcing my new specials. This one isn't even on my web site yet! Certified Organic Lavender Bundles. Summer of 2005 Harvest - freshly dried. Grown in the USA's Pacific Northwest Region, not irradiated ... I've been working with this farm for years and I'm always so happy with how wonderful their lavender bundles are! I look forward to the fresh bundles this time every year. These bundles have been cleaned, tied, and are packaged in a cellophane sleeve ... so many wonderful things can be done with these lavender bundles. 2 varieties available: Grosso Bundles - The lavender of Provence. Long stemmed (up to 24 " ), very fragrant with deep gray/purple flowers. This lavender is perfect for an elegant display, wreath or bouquet making as well as gift wrapping accents. The buds are excellent for sachet and potpourri and is the type used extensively in aromatherapy. A 4oz bundle contains approximately 125 stems English Royal Velvet - A type of English lavender. Shorter stemmed (12-16 " ) with small dark purple flowers. Makes petite bouquets and is excellent for culinary uses such as - infusions, sugars, cakes, breads, desserts and savory sauces. The smaller, dainty flower heads are ideal for all sorts of crafting and great as an addition to gift wrapping. A 2oz. bundle contains approximately 100 stems. These bundles are already on order and will be available for shipping by the end of next week.
