Pipettes and EO blends

Hi, everyone,

I have heard different approaches to using pipettes

in making essential oil blends (eg. disposable pipette

allocated to each bottle of e.o., using isopropyl alcohol

to clean (glass? plastic?) the pipette between each oil).

Is it just a matter of preference or are there contamination

considerations?

I would really appreciate hearing your experiences with

this. Thanks very much!

Say that I have 2 bottles of EO - lavender, and peppermint. If you use the same

pipette to get some peppermint out of the bottle and then use the same one to

get lavender out of it's bottle, you will be adding peppermint to the lavender.

I use a seperate one for each bottle so I don't mix the oils. The pipettes are

not very expensive so I just toss them in the trash when I'm doen instead of

taking the time and bother to clean them
