Hi Carol,

I'm sorry if I wrote that in a way to be misunderstood. I DO NOT use

Rosemary EO, or any other EO's " neat " . I don't feel the benefits

outweigh the risks. EO's work just as well, if not better, when diluted

and using them neat greatly increases the chance of getting sensitized.

The drunk driving analogy is my way of saying - folks should use EO's

diluted. Its safer and just as effective :)

Chris, you write....

>First, there are plenty of documented cases of folks becoming

>sensitized to EO's (including tea tree and lavender). Will it >happen

>to you for sure, not necessarily, but a good analogy is like drunk

>driving - will you get into a wreck driving drunk? ...........

Then, you write:

>Oh, and lastly, the whole thing about Rosemary EO being

>contraindicated for high blood pressure is hooey - don't get caught

>up in an unsound, unproven, phony contraindication like that, while

>ignoring the very real, proven, potential for a problem such as using

>the oils neat ...

Like you, I too use REO " neat " . But your analogy about driving drunk

and sensitivity is a little confusing...should I be using it diluted?

Actually, now that I think about it, I rather like the analogy about

driving drunk. I also like the disclaimers posted at the end of some of

these lists. If the particular list owner observes the content to be

familiar and is offened, I apologize in advance. I am taking liberty of
