Guest guest
When the Challenger exploded, I was a nursing student caring for a patient. I won't forget that tragic day either. The Columbia, I was watching it on tv, it was horrible. The twin towers, was unbelievable. That terrorist hit our United States, was so moving and filled with saddness. So many tragic things happens during a life time. JFK assaination, Bobby's assaination, Kings assaination, I remember those as well. And John John's plane went down. All of these deaths, died to young, with so much yet to give. Soo sad. For every terrible thing, there's good and healing things happening too. Which is how i have to look at it. As well as a reason for these untimely deaths. One we may never know, but it's there somewhere. Our shuttle landed safely this am. Much to grateful about. Guest guest
We must be close to the same age - I remember when President Kennedy was shot. That was a few weeks before my 8th birthday. Guest guest
Hurray for the shuttle! I may be a Luddite when it comes to my food, I also hope to see humanity in space. Space is to this generation what ocean exploration was to previous centuries. As a species, exploration is part of who we are. Sooner or later, we gotta get off planet! Why can't we enlist all those extreme athletes who go in for life-risking sports into space work instead? It appears quite a few folks don't feel alive unless they are at immediate risk of dying. Let's use that energy for something constructive! Beam me up, Scotty.. Ien in the Kootenays ************************** " What's the use of a house if you don't have a good plant to put it on?
