Ron Guba? Fairy stories and YL

Hey guys

Ron Guba. I understand that he is supposed to be highly regarded in

the aromatherapy community

but

Some of the stuff I've heard lately is really disturbing, for example,

he has said that using oils that are known to be dangerous to use on

the skin such as Wintergreen, is in essence a fairy story. I've also

been told that he's also lately been teaching YL-ers (which is not a

bad thing in and of itself) but has also taken to defending YL

practices and it was cynically suggested that he was doing this

because of the money he is making from them.

Anyone else heard anything like this?

That means nothing, so are the writers of the fairy tail books!

Ron Guba has always written rubbish over skin safety issues, but

has always written well on toxicity which has always been hyped in

aromatherapy. Ron Guba has also got a long history of association

with cults, see: http://www.lightmind.com/thevoid/daism/srij-05.html

Hardly surprising he would be drawn to Y.L.

Thanks Martin,

I appreciate the reply. I've been hearing about the YL connection for

many months now from different folk... would explain also WHY he was

so negative about the cat tumor article when it came out and why he

pounded so hard on the " not likely to be the oils " theme.

Again, thanks much.
