Guest guest
Hi I have also received some eo's that would not come out of the bottle. And the stopper holes were indeed too small. I enlarged myself with no damage to the stopper. I used a VERY thin skewer. If anyone else has any information to share on this subject... i.e. with really thick oils~ how do you access the proper amount of oil? Guest guest
Can you warm it gently in a glass of warm water to make it thinner? Did you ask your supplier how to do it? Guest guest
They do make orifice reducers in 3 sizes, for thin oils, medium oils and thick oils. That being said, not all bottle suppliers (and hence not all oil suppliers) have the different size reducers, so in that case, yes, you can just enlarge the opening in the reducer with a thin skewer. With REALLY REALLY thick oils, you might not even want a reducer at all .... in those cases, you might consider using the tip of a toothpick to get a little glob of it out of the bottle. *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com On Behalf Of denigdenig Hi I have also received some eo's that would not come out of the bottle. Guest guest
The tip of a toothpick! I am laughing my arse off...what a simple fabulous solution. Thanks! Someone asked if you couldn't just gently heat the oils to thin them. Since eo's are so sensitive to heat, this would degrade the oils, I should think and would therefore, not be a useful method ~Deni > With REALLY REALLY thick oils, you might not even want a reducer at all > ... in those cases, you might consider using the tip of a toothpick to > get a little glob of it out of the bottle. > > *Smile* > Chris (list mom) > http://www.alittleolfactory.com
