I get organic turmeric by the pound at Starwest (used to be Trinity).

 

If I'm not cooking with it (and I don't cook too often anymore . . .

somehow just not really satisfying for just myself -- I do add it to

scrambled eggs, though) I just take about 1/4 tsp. twice a day. A little

more if I'm eating acidifying foods, like pasta or rice (eggs & meat are

acidifying, too).

 

You could put it in capsules, but I just put the spoonful right on my

tongue and drink a glass of water. Not bad, really, not too strong

tasting.

 

It's said that cancer can't grow or survive in an alkaline environment,

either . . . another reason to balance pH . . .
