Guest guest
Hi Christy, I'm familiar with it as far as cutting up peppers and then, like a maroon, touching my face some where and feeling pain *lol* Why, what's up??? (Inquiring minds want to know! *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com On Behalf Of Christy Anyone familiar with this oil? Guest guest
HI Christy, As Chris says, be careful with this one. Diluted, its useful to bring blood to an area, and alleviate pain - but definitely dilute it - it can blister your skin. The infused one can be found at asian markets. mary Well, Naturally http://www.wellnaturally.com At 08:27 AM 7/22/2005, you wrote: >Hi Christy, > >I'm familiar with it as far as cutting up peppers and then, like a >maroon, touching my face some where and feeling pain *lol* > >Why, what's up??? Guest guest
Well, I was doing a search on those new " lip plump " products. The one I sampled at an Ulta store tingled and stung for several minutes. Wondered what was in the stuff, and didn't have my magnifying glasses, so couldn't read the label! I found one list of ingredients that included capsicum oil, as well as several essential oils...wintergreen, clove, cassia. In my search, I found one site that listed capsicum as an " essential oil " . It's an herb? Is that correct? Or is it from peppers? Ceyenne? I gathered it's HOT. Anyway, that would explain the temporary plumping of the lips...from bringing extra blood to the area. Guest guest
Oh my gosh, that is so crazy that they make a lip plumper full of irritating skin swellers ... Sheesh, I can painfully plump lips too - with a punch to the mouth. It only stings for a little while and it'll even give the lips a shade that resembles a purplish color lipstick - and the effect lasts for at least 24 hours - or longer ;-p <wink> And yes, capsicum is indeed cayenne.... *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com On Behalf Of Christy Well, I was doing a search on those new " lip plump " products. Guest guest
One company puts out something called lip venom. They use cinnamon eo, wintergreen and I think black pepper or peppermint eo. I forget which of the last 2. But it does the same thing when you put it on..it stings for a few minutes. Guest guest
Instead of burning your lips off, lol try alpha-lipoic acid, I understand it plumps lips. --- Christy <fufuno1 wrote: > Anyone familiar with this oil? > > Christy > > > >
