Guest guest
Sofia, I don't know where your swelling is located nor how long it's been doing this, but please monitor it well. It could be an indication of something more serious that could need medical intervention -- including mononecleosis (spelling?) or even something more serious. Scary, I know -- but better to catch something more serious earlier. I implored a former co-worker to go to the doctor because of a swelling he had on his neck. Being a guy he had to be tough. After two weeks I said I'd jump up and down and yell until he called the doctor ... and I started jumping & yelling. Ended up he had Burkett's lymphoma, a rare kind of lymphoma that spreads quickly but is highly beatable if caught early. He was diagnosed at stage 1 - he and his wife discovered later that most people are diagnosed at stage 3 and above. So his chances of beating it were very good (that was three years ago and he's great now). At the time he was 26, two beautiful young boys. He and his family were very grateful that I was such a pest. So, please have it checked out! Dede

Guest guest
My youngest son had a problem with large lumps in his arm pits. Turns out he can't use deodorant - it clogs up his sweat glands and was causing the lumps. Now that he uses a natural deodorant, he doesn't get the large painful lumps.
