ethanol as a preservative

I suspect this is mostly marketing bs. You need a minimum of 25%

alcohol in a formulation to inhibit most bugs and far higher to inhibit

others. In addition, they state they are using " organic ethanol " then

they say it is denatured ethanol. Denatured ethanol is created by

adding synthetic chemicals into the pure drinkable alcohol. So why

claim it is OG but then let out that you are using a chemical????

 

You can say anything on the internet!

Well, alcohol is pretty high up on the list of ingredients... they

also say they " denatured " it with lavender oil <shrug> My impression

was that denature just means to make undrinkable.

 

Still interesting to me, although I wonder about how the product

actually works with so much alcohol in it.
