Guest guest
Speaking of insects, has anyone come up with an effective formula for repelling ticks. I have been visiting an area that has more ticks than I knew existed. The bug formula (with catnip oil and lemon eucalytptus, among other things) I have been using seems to be a condiment rather than a repellant. Guest guest
This past week I used rosemary's cream formula but of course tweeked it to what I was after. I made a beautiful lotion with some og butch's hydrosol and also added lemongrass, rose geranium and some other florals to help combat insects. They are real bad right now here. You can really play with it to create soemthing you specifically are after:) Blessings, Kristerae
Guest guest
For tick problems I've just stuck with the old stand by of deet products. I haven't found anything as effective and since my son at the age of 6 contracted lyme disease I don't mess around with that. If you ever had a 6 year old sick from lyme you wouldn't either. Its the worst thing I've ever seen a child go through in my house. The effects of lyme are worse than any case of the flu hands down.
