Rosemary's recipe for perfect cream is absolutely heaven. I made it but

tweeked it a bit and added/ lessoning some of the oils with monai de tahiti,

and jojoba oils.

I use it as a moistuizer every day as I was getting some dry patches around

my cheekbones no matter what I bought even oil of olay and other great

creams but nothing would touch it. It is a bit greasy at first but the

feeling is wonderful as it sinks in and heals and protects your outer skin.

boy this has made my skin feel better than it has in a long time. Great for

rough skin like my feet and knees also.

I spent a small fortune buying some of the latest moisturizers and creams on

the market including all the expensive oil of olay ones and having nothing

help my skin until this recipe.

I have been using this daily for the last year.

warmly,

Fran

Rosemary's Perfect Cream

Waters

2/3c distilled water or rose water

1/3c aloe vera gel

vitamins a & e as desired

Oils

3/4c apricot, almond or grapeseed oil

1/3c coconut oil or cocoa butter

1/4t lanolin

1/2 to 1oz grated beeswax

1)combine waters in glass measuring cup.

2. in double boiler over low heat, combine the oils. heat them just

enough to melt

3. pur the oils into a blender, cool to room temp.Mix will become

thick, creamy, semisolid, and cream colored.

You can hasten the cooling process in the refridge.

4. when mix has cooled, turn on blender to highest speed. in a slow

thin drizzle, put the water mix into the center vortex or the

whirling oil mix.

5. when most of the water has been added to the oils, listen to the

blender. and watch the cream. When blender coughs and chokes and the

cream looks thick and white, like buttercream frosting. turn off after a

couple minutes or so of choking in the blender.

You can slowly add more water by hand but don't over beat. I never had to

add any additional water.

Cream will thicken as it sets.

Do any of you have Rosemary Gladstar's Family Herbal? Would you be

willing to share the Rosemary's Perfect Cream recipe? Any experiences

with it/opinions? -Josh

this sounds great. Can you use Coconut oil 76 or do you have to use Fractinated

Coconut Oil?

THANK YOU. If I can make it come out like a cream, this will be the

perfect recipe to start working with :-) I want to leave out the

lanolin and replace the beeswax with orange wax, though.

And apologies for misspelling Rosemary's name. :( I posted the

original message from my phone.
