Guest guest
Let's see, where to start. I live in Pahrump, Nevada which is about 70 miles northwest of Las Vegas. I have a small " pet " ranch with goats (males, no milk ), chickens, ducks, pot-belly pigs (too many!), geese, dogs and cats. Oh, and a very small lizard. I have three pathetic tomato plants sitting on my windowsill because I have pigs, and they'll eat anything! Ask my flower bed last fall! But, the tomatoes have hope! The extra pigs should be leaving this weekend After they leave, I'm gonna plant everything I can afford! I do alot of jewelry sales because I LOOOVE shiny things! My husband used to call me a barraccuda because of it, now I'm a raccoon. They're cuter and alot smarter I think it's a compliment! I make CP soap, lotions, creams and many other body care products. I also dabble in Melt & Pour very occasionally. Now for the interesting part, my question: I bought some natural Green Tea from the store today. I wanted to know if I could infuse it in Witch Hazel Distillate to get the scent and qualities out of it. If it will work, I would like to mix that combination with some of my silky base for body sprays and such, and blend in some EO's. I'm thinking woody and floral with the tea base would be wonderful. Do you think this would work or do you have any suggestions or cautions or anything? Please help!! Mary T.
Guest guest
Welcome to this wonderful list, Mary! I've got a pinch of greet tea leaves soaking in some everclear in a little vial. It has a very faint odor. I have found that alcohol loves to dissolve the chlorophyll and the solution is very dark. Perhaps if you used a little bit, it would add an interesting, natural color to your product. hth, Pamela On Behalf Of Mary Trepanier Thursday, June 30, 2005 9:29 PM Let's see, where to start.
