Guest guest
What herbs are best for use as anti inflammatories. I have been having problems with one of my feet. Finally went to the doctor after 6 weeks to see what he thought. Doesnt think it is gout as it is not swollen or red. Thinks it might be a form of arthritis or some nerve between the big toe and the second toe that runs up the top of the foot. It has been hurting me for about 6 weeks now and it comes and goes. Sometimes I get these searing pains so bad I almost wnat to scream, but they subside within about a minute or so and sometimes it is just a constant mellower pain and hurts to walk sometimes. Doctor wants me to take 600mg of ibuprofen twice a day for 10 days and then go back and see him. Is there some herbs I can take? Guest guest
Tracy, Ibuprofen....oh my aching kidneys..... that stuff is nasty... Yucca Root and Devil's Claw are two of my favorite anti-inflammatory herbs. Glucosamine and Chondroitin are very useful to take for arthritis....and be sure to up your Vit C intake. You can also make up a massage oil to massage into the area. I makeup a herbal healing balm of infused herbs and EO's that I'd be happy to share the recipe with you. It works wonders on most pain. Guest guest
Tracy, one of the best natural anti-inflammatories is Turmeric, the root that makes curry yellow. If you have the patience you can buy it in bulk in the grocery store and put it in capsules yourself. Ien in the Kootenays ******************************* Stop. Breathe.
