Guest guest
Anyone know of a good source for tall, 16 oz (or anything over 8 oz) tins with a clear lid? I am interested in packaging my " pregnancy infusion " herbal blend in them. thanks!
Guest guest
Hi Bonnie, I deal directly with one of the manufacturers of clear top tins (I know they have a patent on the square shaped ones) and the largest size they have " in stock " are the 8 oz. If you wanted to have them specially made they would gladly do it, but you have to order about 15,000 (yep fifteen thousand) of them. Wanna do a co-op? *lol* *Smile* Chris (list mom) Organic Neroli Birgarade Hydrosol Pre-Buy http://www.alittleolfactory.com , " Bonnie Walker " <webgrrl@w...> wrote: > Anyone know of a good source for tall, 16 oz (or anything over 8 oz) tins > with a clear lid? Guest guest
Thanks Chris. That's what another supplier told me (actually their quote was 25,000!). LOL. I'd have to build another room to store that many tea tins! The only thing is that I *saw* another tea lady at the Bend (Oregon) Saturday Market selling her tea in tall clear top metal containers (or maybe they weren't clear top, but they definitely were TALL!) and I *doubt* she bought 15,000 of them, but I will ask her where she buys her containers if I go to the market this Saturday. Or, I guess I'm going to make a point of stopping by to see if she minds me asking ; ) Not that there's anything wrong with the 1,000 zip baggies i still have laying around for my tea, I'm just thinking of " upscaling " my packaging now that I'm " Snowboard Mommy " and not just dinky little " Web Baby Shower " ~B - " chrisziggy " <chrisziggy Thursday, June 16, 2005 1:56 PM Re: tall clear top tins Hi Bonnie, I deal directly with one of the manufacturers of clear top tins (I know they have a patent on the square shaped ones) and the largest size they have " in stock " are the 8 oz. Guest guest
Packaging can be a real challenge sometimes. There are some REALLY nice things I come across with minimums that aren't within my reach, so .. *sigh* ... Co-ops can help sometimes, but when you get into the tens of thousands of pieces, it can be hard even with co-ops! (that is actually where I am at right now with some wonderful foamer pumps from Italy I love, but .. 12,000 foamer pumps is a bit over the top for what I need at the moment *lol*). Good luck! *Smile* Chris (list mom) Organic Neroli Bigarade Hydrosol Pre-Buy <http://www.alittleolfactory.com/> http://www.alittleolfactory.com On Behalf Of Bonnie Walker Thanks Chris. Guest guest
Hi Chris I have my local supplier for the foam pump, minimum is only 200 for USD 2 each. If this helps you, I can simply mail that out for you. I use that for face wash and shaving cream, it does wonderful job.
