Guest guest
Hi everyone! I've been really busy with craft fairs and have evidently turned into a professional lurker, but I just had to ask......since (get this one - yesterday's holistic fair nestled me in between a feng shui couple and Gary Young fanatics - talk about a confused Cindy!!! lol). Anyway, getting to my question, comment, emotional outburst: I have always believed that there is no such thing as rose essential oil. It comes in otto or absolute - period. Question #1 - is that a correct assumption? Question #2 - if that IS correct, then how would one explain (I know - futile effort, but I am by nature very stubborn) to fanatics that the stuff they are peddling as essential oil is non-existent? This bothered me that they pulled out a book and showed me that the rose essential oil ($150 for a mere 5ml) was steam distilled. Thanks! Cindy, frazzled and confused

See the descriptions on Marge's site - http://www.naturesgift.com/essential/descriptionp-r.htm#Turkish%20Rose%20Ott o - Ottos are steam distilled - Absolutes are solvent extracted Linda Wallen Village Treasures - Tow, TX Village WebWorks - www.villagewebworks.com <snip> Anyway, getting to my question, comment, emotional outburst: I have always believed that there is no such thing as rose essential oil.
