All my books I have say that lavender can be used neat.

I really appreciate all the useful info on lavender oil. Although i did use

it neat with no adverse results, it is good to know that it should be diluted.

I also thought this EO was safe to use straight.

A lot on the subject of essential oils gets printed without much more

than a " Well, the author read it somewhere else or on the Internet "

type of research. Unfortunately, that doesn't make it true and it is

always best to dilute EO's for skin use.

I'm sorry Tracy ... but you will not find that kind of statement in " THE "

source for safe usage of essential oils - Martin Watts' Plant Aromatics. He

cites several instances of sensitization. Why take a chance? With essential

oils, " less is more " .
