Hi all:

Just wanted to share this find with ya. It's been 2 years since I bought RHS

oil, and it wasn't this good of a grade & cost more.

 

She also has some other interesting items. Doesn't help me a bit, but I know

how hard it is to find organic rhs oil.

It does need Vit E added to prolong the life due to no additives. It is a 2005

oil, I checked.

Summary

This organic, cold pressed oil is made fresh from the seeds of the wild rose

(Rosa affinis rubiginosa) that grows in the Andes of South Chile. Rosehip oil is

very rich in linoleic (41%) and linolenic acid (39 %), two essential fatty acids

that are found in the structural lipids of the cell but humans cannot synthesize

(hence the " essential " ). Rosehip seed oil also contains trans-retinoic acid,

tocopherols and carotenoids (responsible for the light pink/orange color of the

oil). In clinical studies done in Chile, rose hip oil was effective in aiding

tissue regeneration in surgical wounds, and in treatment of keloids. Add some

oil to your favorite cream or lotion to provide the essential fatty acids, and

remember to add a few drops to your bath. You will receive 4 fl. oz. of oil

(about 100 ml).
