Kathleen. Toronto is an amazing city - I am a Canadian that has lived in the

U.S for

30 years - still have relatives in the area - I have always thought of

Toronto as LA without a lot of the sh** - I realize that it has changed A LOT in

the

past 15 yrs or so - but any city here in the US has also --- Canadians are

wonderful people - & TO ( as it is known) is a great place - like LA - Phx/ or

any big city in the US - it has many interesting neighbourhoods & suburbs

GIRL -- GO FOR IT!!!

Howdy folks

Anyone live in Toronto? Theres a possibility that we may move there.

Gordon's Company doens't really want him to telecommute and suggested that

if we really are hell bent on getting out of here (I'M the one who's

hellbent on gettng out of here) why not try Toronto as they have an office

there.

Now. I don't know much about T at all. Except for, if it's not snowing,

it's raining. So. Anyone out there got any info for me and yes, I'm google

- trawling later, but a first hand perspective is always appreciated.

Never lived in Canada. Visited and lived just across the border, would be

an interesting experience....

Cheers!

Toronto is an interesting place to live close to, I think. There are some

wonderful small towns within easy commenting distance that are great places

to raise your crew. Look north of the city - up around Aurora, perhaps.

Also TO is just a 4 hour drive from Montreal, a dynamic and exciting place

to weekend.

It doesn't just rain or snow in TO. Sometimes (like now) it gets really hot

and smoggy.

Good luck with whatever you choose,

Allana in foggy but delightful Halifax
