Even the Chemistry Store charges a " handling " charge though.>>

Why would you have to give things away on Ebay? List it for a tad less

than what you want out of it, if it sells, great, if not, your only out

what .35? Been a while since I sold on Ebay. When you circumvent fees on

Ebay, that to me is just being a dishonest seller. Course, Ebay doesn't

have the time or manpower to catch all of the folks doing this as of

late. If you can't get what you want out of the product, and that forces

you to rake folks on shipping, why bother? Again, I don't sell on

Ebay.....just buy buy buy LOL

 

What about co-ops? You don't make any money

and the hostess fee usually pays for the packaging, tape, boxes, ziploc

bags, containers, etc. Are those people expected to eat the credit card

fees? What is the point of a coop? Why would anyone want to do one?>>

 

I did this when I had my cc processing company, when the shop was open to

the public. I did the tin co-op and didn't charge folks extra for using

their CC....as long as it wasn't thru PayPal. I had a much better rate

than what PP offers for CC usage. I don't have a problem at all paying the

hostess fees on a co-op.....they aren't selling to you at a profit. Well,

most co-ops anyways

When I closed the brick/mortar store, I was told by my processing company

that all the sudden I was going to have a minimum charge every month (which

I had never had!), along with all kinds of extra charges......even if I had

NO sales for that month. Told em to stick it I guess I figure if your

needing something NOW...then you should have started looking for it weeks

ago. I just got an order from AU, she didn't use PayPal and has no problem

sending me a cheque (her words ). Maybe I am just getting burned out

and don't care? Don't mean to be grumpy...been house hunting for

almost 2 months now.....house we were supposed to close on, we found out on

closing day that there were 2 encroachments on the property. Now our house

is 90% packed up and I am getting grouchier by the day
