I did a little experimenting with the Orange Wax from the prebuy. Wanted to let

everyone know my observations. I didnt even think about the fact that this

stuff is

so concentrated that it can leave an orange glow on your skin in high amounts

:-) Might be good in a tanning lotion. I just substituted .7 oz in my repair

balm recipe that calls for 2.7 oz of beeswax and about 5.3 oz of oils, butters

and milk. I noticed a few things.

1. It smells a little like orange creamsicle when it is heating :-)

2. It definately softened the stick but just about a perfect amount to make it

nicer and creamier

3. I think it is the maximum amount I would use in this recipe as it may leave

an orange glow on the skin at a higher amount.

4. The stick smells like oranges

5. It emulsified beautifully, better than it ever has.

This wax is powerful stuff so a little is going to go a long way! I think next

time I will cut it down to about . 5 oz. Cant wait to try it in a lotion, maybe

tonight :-)) I am sure it will color the lotion to a lovely light orange color

used at a very small ratio as well as naturally fragrance the lotion. Anyway

hope that helps with anyone also experimenting :-)

Would orange wax have the same skin sensitizing as most citrus oils?

(avoiding sun when using it etc)?
