Hi Folks,

This week (May 30 - June 5) our herb of the week will be Lemon Verbena

(Aloysia triphylla).

I will post various info about lemon verbena all week, and I hope that

anyone who has any personal experience with this plant will not hesitate

to post about it :-D

Chris,

I have 3 of these plants!! I just container potted two of them 2 days

ago!! The one I planted in the yard is not doing so well, but the

container is doing ok for now!!

All I know right now is that they smell divine, and like a loamy

moist soil, the kind you use for geraniums. I also use a fish oil

emulsion as a fetilizer. You need to pinch the tips to keep it bushy,

and your suggested to mist or wash the leaves every week to keep

mites from colonizing.

I will enjoy all the information from you and others have on this

wonderful plant!! Guess I will be getting into herbs big time!

I love this group!!
