Guest guest
For those not familiar with the jewelweed plant, or unable to find it, the common garden plants Impatiens or Garden Balsam are very close cousins to jewelweed. I have found those plants - along with the very common plantain to be pretty effective in controlling the rash. There is also a homeopathic remedy called Rhus Tox which, when taken once a week, helps many people get through the poison ivy season rash-free.
