Butch,

I agree with you. As much as I hate war, and think we

have no business often butting into other country's

affairs, I think our veterans and soldiers deserve

high respect.

 

My father passed away last year, almost a year ago

today (june 3). I'm still waiting for the flag

promised by the Armed Forces (he was supposed to

receive one for burial purposes). He seems to have

slipped through the cracks there. They've done

nothing for his contributions to the country. He was

air force.

Perzackly .. and good it is. I can't imagine a leader getting his

troops together and letting them VOTE on how the mission will be

conducted. ;-)

True it is .. the President is the Commander in Chief of the Armed

Forces and to violate legal orders one must be as nut case!

Thanks much .. and to all the many folks on this list who are veterans

and/or retirees from the US Military .. or the Military of any other

Nation .. they are all my brothers and sisters and I salute them.
