Anyone know how I can waterproof labels? I did buy some shrinkwrap sleeves but

they just don't look good, too wrinkly looking. Is there any kind of waterproof

tape that I could put over the labels? Or any other ideas? I need to label spray

containers and without waterproofing them the print on the labels inevitably

runs. Thanks

I'm testing an Epson printer, with a wax-based ink. Will holler when I

have results.

A friend suggests you buy bumper sticker paper. Thirty minutes after

[printing, it is waterproof.

I use clear spray paint and that sets the ink. Or use clear contact paper

over the label.

I use Krylon clear. Works great but be sure it's Krylon brand and not some other

clear coat

We use an Epson C82 printer with DuraBrite ink. It works great and all 4 ink

colors are separate cartridges, so you only have to replace the color thats out

instead of all 3 at once. The ink does not run, even if essential or vegetable

oil gets on the label.

And the printers are not expensive. Get one, it's worth the savings in time and

trouble that using tape or clear paint spray take.
