Hello Everyone,

Can anyone tell me if you can leave the peeling on the ginger root when juicing

it. This would be for comsumption. Is there much nutrient value in the skin.

I have juiced it peeled but it so time consuming. Thanks

Hi Gail,

Yes you do leave on the peel. You may also find that a good garlic

press works well for your ginger. I often juice it that way- or just

put it through my juicer whole. It's not because of any nutrient value,

but because it will juice better this way.

I jsut gently scrub my ginger root and add a thumbnail size piece to my daily

juicing veggies (plus an apple for sweetness). I also grow wheatgrass to add to

my juicing, you can grow it in the 1lb strawberry containers :)
